 An Ecosystem for Art and Ideas 2022

CircuitWest is excited to offer this professional development program for regionally based producers, artists and arts workers in May.

A brainchild of award-winning creative producer and director Annette Carmichael, An Ecosystem for Art & Ideas is a four-day workshop process that explores ways of creating meaningful arts projects that contribute to vibrant communities.

Annette will facilitate the workshop and mentor you to:

  • Explore ways of refining ideas
  • Develop creative processes
  • Engage your community
  • Consider timelines and resources
  • Make space for the unknown
  • Encourage critical reflection

This program is particularly suited to artists, writers, choreographers, theatre directors, musicians and artsworkers wishing to create projects with regional communities. Workshops explore an intersection between professional practice and community cultural development to create excellent, meaningful arts projects.
