CircuitWest is excited to offer this professional development program for regionally based producers. Developed and facilitated by Annette Carmichael, this professional development program for producers has been developed for regional communities who wish to explore ways of creating meaningful arts projects.
An Ecosystem for Art & Ideas is a four-day workshop process that explores ways of refining project ideas; engaging with the community; creating enriching projects that consider the practicalities of resources and timelines; making space for risk-taking and the unknown.
The workshop will be run in Denmark and will take place between the 21st to the 24th June 2021. Places are available for 9 participants. Participants will be expected to travel.
The successful applicants will receive the following:
· Accommodation in Denmark
· Flights or Travel by Car (one journey to and from Denmark). Travel on Sunday 20th and then late afternoon 24th June
Applicants will be selected by CircuitWest and Annette Carmichael based on the application below. You must be able to commit to the entire four-day program, be from a regional area and have experience in the performing arts.
You will be asked to provide a short biography (200 words) and short description of the project idea you would like to develop (300 words max). These can just be the glimmer of an idea so do not feel like you have to have it completely mapped out. It is these ideas that will be developed over the 4 days. By the end of the 4 days all participants will have prepared a concept document and have a plan to progress the idea into reality.
