With funding from Lotterywest, CircuitWest will deliver its professional development and capacity building programs to community theatres.
The components of the project, outside the scope of this EOI, include providing access to activities that will grow audience, generate income and stabilise their business models. This will include access to audience development, programming, community engagement, marketing, OSH, advocacy, links to professional theatre companies to grow skill and connection, strategic plans, technical training and access to an organisation and network of engaged partners in the sector. It will also provide one on one mentoring for these organisations. Activities will be bespoke, to allow for the best chance of success and will be run alongside the organisation so that they retain the skills. It will also allow for the high turnover of individuals involved in the running of these organisations.
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest to undertake work in Creative Upskilling Workshops for Community Theatre Organisations.
