Comedy Hypnotist Matt Hale: Bonkers!

Joyful. Crazy. Fun! The unmissable hypnosis show with a party vibe!

If you thought previous years were ridiculously fun, this year we’ll go completely…Bonkers!

Come smile, laugh, and leave outrageously happy as international comedy hypnotist Matt Hale shares his own modern brand of hypno laughs (NO swinging watches & 100% chicken free!), hypnotising volunteers with hilarious (but tasteful!) consequences as their imaginations hit turbo!

Form and Style

Designed to leave your community with an extremely happy, positive buzz (both audience & participants), creating talk and excitement for a long time after, and appealing to a very wide age/background demographic for maximum attendance.

Previous presenters have highlighted the importance of such a night of shared fun and laughter to help a community thrive.

One of the most successful shows of Fringe World, with a record breaking run of 30+ shows (most sold out!) year on year, it attracts countless press, radio, tv and online interviews, and some high profile brand collaborations. Feelgood Factory certainly captures the attention of the public and media alike with its unique fun and positive message.

Matt has previously run a full tour with Country Arts WA as part of ‘Shows On The Go’ to 15 regional presenters in communities big and small. The show was found to be a perfect fit for the major sponsor’s (Healthway) mental health message of ‘Act, Belong, Commit.’

Such was the success in ticket sales, media coverage, presenter and community feedback, 100% of the presenters indicated that they would love to host the show again.

So what is it?…Real Hypnosis, Real Fun! A brand new show of LOL hypno suggestions to leave your audience feeling fantastic, whether they watch or take part (always their choice of course!).

During the show, audiences can expect to see volunteers on stage transported into a number of fun and funny imaginary situations and unleashing talents they never knew they had!

Combining the fun of total audience participation with the incredible abilities of the mind, Matt turns the traditional hypnosis show on its head, highlighting the talents and creativity of the volunteers for big laughs instead of embarrassing them.

On the back of his number 1 Amazon bestselling book “Mindhacking Happiness”, Matt’s modern positive brand of hypno laughs (NO swinging watches & 100% chicken free!), sees hypnotised volunteers taking part in hilarious (but tasteful!) routines as their imaginations work overtime!

The show ‘packs small, plays big!’ in that at a minimum all that is required is chairs and a PA system, thus is easily adaptable from big stages to the smallest performance spaces. The touring party can be as small as Matt and Kathryn (wife/manager/tech) but can benefit from a tour manager on long tours.

Community Engagement

Matt is available for media interviews wherever possible (in person if possible but definitely over phone or video). Matt will share pre and post show videos and pictures to help build excitement about the show.

Community memory workshops are available (ask for more details) We are happy to work with communities to find fun and interesting things relative to their audiences to help promote the performance.

★★★★★ “Had the crowd roaring with laughter” Perth Happenings 2021

★★★★★ ” I didn’t realise I could laugh for so long – but the laughs kept on coming. Not to mention the jaw-drops when I couldn’t believe the things he was getting the volunteers to do! And certainly not at the expense of the volunteers up on stage. Matt has a real knack of ensuring the volunteers are respected throughout and the hypno suggestion are not embarrassing or humiliating for anyone taking part.”

★★★★½ “complete silliness and a whole lot of fun… after the year that’s just gone, everyone needs a little Matt Hale!” Agent Mystery Case 2021

Presenter feedback

“Matt and his team could not have been more engaging and professional from the moment we booked them until the moment they left our venue. It’s obvious they love what they do. The marketing assistance in the lead up to the show was the best we’ve experienced from any promoter at our venue. There was a real buzz in the air at Borden Pavilion on the night of the show. On stage Matt was exactly what we expected and more. He has an amazing ability to read the room and really create and feed off the energy. BONKERS was exactly what our community needed to distract us from the realities of farming life. 10/10 would recommend. You absolutely will not regret it.”
