About the Venue

The Queens Park Theatre, located in Geraldton, Western Australia, is proudly owned and operated by the City of Greater Geraldton. It is Geraldton’s landmark entertainment and conference venue. Opened in March 1982, the Theatre boasts a 673-seat auditorium (including box and circle seating), two large foyers with bars, a reception room, and a 400-seat outdoor amphitheatre.

The Theatre is available for hire, and is an ideal venue for your conference, exhibition, film screening, function, performance, seminar, trade launch or wedding ceremony.

Seating Capacity


Capacity 673 - Theatre style fixed seating.
The auditorium consists of 512 seats at stage level and another 161 seats at the circle level.


Capacity 400 - Bench type Step seating fixed.
The Ampitheatre consists of semi arc natural Grass top seating with Rock/mortar step footings.


Capacity 50 - Conference/meeting flexible seating.
The Mezzanine is a function room fully Air-conditioned with capacity for anything from a rehearsal to a private Conference space.


Capacity 160 - Flexible seating.
The Foyer can be used for receptions, Balls, Comedy Events, Celebrations, Corporate, Expos and Power Point Presentations with a Full Bar.
