…Are you listening:
Research Funding Available 2019-2020
“Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.” – Bill Gates
The visiting Showcase 2019 speakers all seemed to agree that there was one essential all presenters and producers need to focus on this year.
This was clear whether the topic was audience development, community engagement, marketing or engaging audiences.
The common essential was the need to listen to your audiences and communities and avoid planning in a bubble.
If you are ready to do some listening, or maybe more listening, CircuitWest has been supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries to help you listen more.
In 2018-2019, twelve WA presenters found invaluable information about people in the regions that helped them build audiences and deepen conversations with existing customers.
In 2019-2020, CircuitWest will continue on from the successes of the 2018-2019 audience development projects with 3 tiers of research available to regional presenters who are members. These are for those new to research and those who have conducted some research in the past.
Two of the three options require brief funding applications. The third requires only discussions with CircuitWest. These are
- Level 1. – Detailed audience development and understanding – available to any presenter who did not receive research funding in 2018-2019
- Level 2 – Audience development full survey – available to any presenter who did not receive research funding in 2018-2019 OR any presenter who did not do a survey as part of their 2018-2019 research
- Level 3 – Audience development exit survey – available to all presenters including those who have had previous research funding
